And for my other story it's 42 hits and 6 kudos. Most likely they're not a "kudos bot" and are just a crawler/indexer for a search engine. The kudos button is a link, so it gets clicked. Looks like this one was either hit by the kudos bot or the hit count hasn't updated as quickly as the kudos count. It has 12 hits and up until this afternoon had 2 kudos. I'm not sure if these are good numbers. My question is what is the purpose of this bot? On reddit, I can understand bot accounts multiplying their karma for ads and stuff, but what are they trying to achieve on ao3 by increasing random people's kudos and comments? Archived post.
